PicoQuant Hires 2 for Sales Team

BERLIN, March 14, 2012 — In response to continued growth and business development, optoelectronics company PicoQuant GmbH has added two laser specialists to its sales and marketing team.

Dr. Susanne Trautmann joined the company at the beginning of this year as an application specialist in advanced microscopic techniques. Her experience in various technologies, most notably in vivo fluorescence (cross-) correlation spectroscopy and fluorescence lifetime imaging, will strengthen PicoQuant’s confocal microscopy and spectroscopy systems sales and customer support. She previously worked at EMBL Heidelberg.

Dr. Christian Litwinski, who joined the team in February, is responsible for the sale of components, including pulsed laser sources and photon counting instrumentation. He also will provide customer support for PicoQuant’s spectroscopy clients. He previously worked in the chemistry department at Rhodes University in Grahamstown, South Africa.
