Laser diode manufacturer Laser Operations LLC of Sylmar, Calif., has expanded its sales organization in Europe and the Asia-Pacific. Soliton GmbH of Gilching, Germany, has been appointed as the company's nonexclusive distributor for Germany, Austria, Poland and the German-speaking portion of Switzerland. Soliton will focus on the company's nonmedical market, while current distributor AMS Technologies will continue handling medical applications. Laser Operations has also named Michael Wang as its in-house consultant for China, and Indeco as its nonexclusive distributor in Japan.
