Schneider has recently introduced a number of 1.3" format lenses designed for use with larger megapixel sensors (with a diagonal of up to 22mm) with Micro-lenses. The broadband-coated optics may be used alternatively in the visible (400-700nm) or near infrared (700-1000nm) ranges, but not both ranges simultaneously.

The new APO-Xenoplan 2.0/20mm, APO-Xenoplan 2.0/24mm, APO-Xenoplan 2.0/35mm, and existing Xenoplan 2.8/50mm lenses feature a unique Image Sided Telecentric design that projects light onto the sensor orthogonally, eliminating shadowing or perceived vignetting in the corners, to provide a uniform image across the entire field of view.

The robust mechanical design with lockable focus and iris guarantee long-term stability even in typical production environments. The 1.3” format lenses all provide a front thread for easy filter installation.
