Samsung Mobile to Buy Novaled AMOLEDs

DRESDEN, Germany, and SEOUL, South Korea, July 3, 2012 — In its latest licensing and purchase agreement with Samsung Mobile Display (SMD), organic LED (OLED) company Novaled will provide proprietary positive-intrinsic-negative (PIN) OLED technology for SMD’s next generation of mobile active-matrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED) display modules. SMD also has committed to purchasing dopant materials used in the transport layers of its AMOLED display modules from Novaled for several years.
