Dr. Thomas Katona is the new vice president of products for solid-state lighting provider Next Lighting Corp. of San Francisco. He will be responsible for all aspects of product marketing and engineering. He has more than 13 years of experience in the LED industry. He previously served in management roles in engineering, marketing and business development at Soraa Inc.
