BARRINGTON, N.J., Oct. 4, 2012 — Edmund Optics’ TechSpec Raman long-pass edge filters create a sharp transition between transmitted Raman signals and blocked laser wavelengths.

A single-filter solution for reducing spectral noise in Stokes shift application, they offer high transmission to detect weak signals and can detect even the smallest Raman shifts. The filters provide deep blocking for maximum laser rejection and are a good choice for integration into Raman spectroscopy and confocal microscopy systems for both OEM and laboratory use.

The hard-coated design offers good transmission characteristics. The filters are robust and will stand up to the normal cleaning and handling associated with a high-quality optical component in a wide variety of demanding applications. They are available in 325-, 355-, 473-, 488-, 514.5-, 532-, 632.8-, 785-, 980- and 1064-nm cutoff wavelengths in both 12.5- and 25-mm diameters.
