NORWICH, England, Oct. 18, 2012 — For real-time Raman spectroscopy, chemiluminescence and microscopy applications, Artemis CCD has announced the QS14 thermoelectrically cooled CCD camera. It is suitable for OEM manufacturers and for scientists who need rapid, high-quality images in low-light conditions.

It features the ICX-285 CCD sensor and provides 1.4-megapixel imaging and a fast frame rate. It is supplied with a proprietary software development kit, with custom drivers and plug-ins for many commercially available image capture packages, allowing OEM manufacturers to quickly and easily integrate the camera into a range of laboratory equipment.
