OVIEDO, Fla., Nov. 5, 2012 — Increased demand for its volume Bragg gratings has led optical components maker OptiGrate to move to a new facility with 70 percent more space. The 10,000-sq-ft facility is the only vertically integrated volume Bragg grating (VBG) production plant in the world, the company said recently. It includes units for photothermorefractive glass and holographic VBG production as well as a VBG laser application development lab. OptiGrate Corp., a University of Central Florida Business Incubation program graduate, has relocated to a new 10,000-sq-ft facility to accommodate the increased...Read full article
