APELDOORN, Netherlands, Nov. 19, 2012 — Avantes BV has released its AvaSoft 8.0 spectroscopy software featuring multimonitor displays and multiple simultaneous measurements.
Besides multiple concurrent measurements and multimonitor setups, it offers a redesigned and more user-friendly graphic user interface.
Users can tile screens in their monitors so they can view scope mode and absorbance mode simultaneously or view the output from multiple spectrometers, each in its own display screen.
A new file-saving format enables direct saving to ASCII, JCAMP and other formats.
Until March 31, 2013, existing customers can upgrade to AvaSoft 8 from any previous version free of charge when downloading from the Avantes website.
