In combination with our extensive lapping, polishing, dicing and other machining capabilities, with the addition of 4 axis CNC equipment, Valley can provide the desired finished part.
We can fabricate intricate shapes in materials ranging from fused silica and quartz to optical glass of all types, 96% - 99.6% alumina, aluminum nitride, Macor, silicon carbide, metals and more. Features may include through-holes and pockets, corner chamfers and radii, edge chamfers, slots and steps, and complex geometries with tight tolerances. We can also lap these parts, or optically polish to high quality optical finishes. Working closely with several local coatings suppliers, Valley can provide a finished part to our customers.
Parts from as small as 0.127mm square up to 450mm diameter are handled by Valley Design. We process materials to ultra-thin thicknesses as thin as 20-25µm. We work with micron level tolerances, difficult surface finish, parallelism and flatness requirements and provide some of the quickest lead times in the industry. Many materials and thousands of finished wafers and substrates are in stock from our extensive inventory.
