PEABODY, Mass., March 7, 2013 — Seminex has announced the availability of high-brightness 25- and 50-W fiber-coupled multichip modules that can operate in the 13xx- to 17xx-nm region. At 1315 nm, they deliver up to 50 W through a single 400-µm core fiber.
The devices are suitable for a number of applications, including remote sensing, illumination and materials processing. A variety of modules from 10 to 50 W are available, with many shipping directly from stock.
