LANNION, France, March 15, 2013 — Yenista Optics is expanding its international presence with a support center in Shanghai that will offer technical support and repair services. The facility will open March 18.
Yenista has deployed tunable lasers and filters in mainland China with the help of its local sales partners. The new support center will enable the company to assist customers with product implementation and setup.
It also will offer repair services for Photonetics’ and Nettest’s Tunics and Osics equipment, which were transferred from Anritsu to Yenista in 2009. More than 350 units have been successfully repaired since the transfer. (See:

The Shanghai center marks the first step in the company’s establishment in Asia, said sales and marketing manager Nicéphore Nicolas.
