Lockheed Updates Laser Range Finders for Apache Helicopters

ORLANDO, Fla., June 11, 2013 — Global security and aerospace company Lockheed Martin has delivered the first phase of laser range finder upgrades for use on the US Army’s Apache helicopter. The modernized day sensor assembly (M-DSA) laser range finder designator (LRFD) is the chief targeting aid for the Apache and is critical for establishing the range to target for accurate weapon aiming.
