LAWRENCE, Mass., Aug. 15, 2013 — Spectral Evolution’s SR-4500 portable UV-VIS-NIR spectroradiometer offers three thermoelectrically cooled photodiode arrays for use in a variety of ambient temperatures and environments.
The 512-element TE-cooled silicon photodiode array is for the 350- to 1000- nm range; the 256-element TE-cooled extended InGaAs photodiode array, for the 1000- to 1900-nm range; and the 256-element TE-cooled extended InGaAs photodiode array, for the 1900- to 2500-nm range. Other features include diffraction based optics; autodark current shutter and autoexposure; a fixed metal-clad fiber optic cable; and DARWin SP data acquisition software.
The device provides stable measurement for radiometric calibration transfer, either in a hot integrating sphere or a cool cleanroom environment. Its measurement stability eliminates variability between various integrating spheres and retains NIST traceability.
The device weighs 11 lb and has a benchtop footprint of 304.8 × 101.6 mm.
