They are suitable for industrial, biomedical and scientific imaging and for applications including electronics inspection and computed tomography. The 688 and 1548 HS models offer resolutions of 1032 × 688 and 1032 × 1548 pixels and active areas of 10.2 × 6.8 and 10.2 × 15.3, respectively. Both models use a 99-µm pixel size. The 688 HS delivers near-XGA (extended graphics array) resolution common to 4-in. Il-CCD systems. All Shad-o-Box HS detectors offer rates up to 30 fps and communicate via a standard Cat5e data cable over lengths up to 100 m via Gigabit Ethernet interface. Various scintillator options cover both the low (10 to 50 kV) and extended (up to 225 kV) energy ranges.
