Marcel van der Vliet has joined micro- and nanotechnology developer Phoenix Software BV as principal project manager. Van der Vliet previously managed design and manufacturing teams for photonic integrated circuits for various technology platforms such as Alcatel Optronics and Kotura. He holds a number of patents in integrated optics and is also a co-founder of BBV Design and BBV Software, Phoenix’s predecessing company from 1991. Phoenix Software is a provider of products and services for integrated photonics.
