4-H Camps Receive STEM Grant

KNOXVILLE, Tenn., July 8, 2016 — The University of Tennessee Extension, along with programs in Colorado, Kentucky and Missouri, has been awarded a $10,000 sponsorship from internet provider HughesNet LLC to implement a STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) program during its Junior 4-H Camp. The camps will produce the STEM program through a series of hands-on stations, including zip-lining energy, wildlife ecology and the science of archery.
