NASHUA, NH, Oct. 16 -- Sanders, a Lockheed Martin Company, has finished contractor sled testing on its Advanced Threat IR Countermeasures/Common Missile Warning System (ATIRCM/CMWS), at Holloman Air Force Base, NM. The company is also close to finishing the Contractor Flight Testing phase of the program.
During sled testing Sanders' ATIRCM/CMWS successfully identified, tracked and jammed missile threats from distances of 1.5 to 4 km over a series of thirteen test flights that simulated different airspeeds and angles of approach as well as single and simultaneous missile launches.
