HOLLISTON, Mass., Dec. 5 -- Zygo TeraOptix Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Zygo Corp., has finished its acquisition of an 87,000 sq ft facility in Westboro, Mass. Zygo TeraOptix will occupy the facility while manufacturing space is in fit-up mode, the company said. Operations will be maintained at Zygo TearOptix' facility in Holliston until the production lines in Westboro are completed, with full operation planned for March 2001. We, at Zygo TeraOptix, are excited about this acquisition, said John Berg, president of Zygo TearOptix. We have outgrown our current facility in Holliston, and this will provide much needed space. It will also allow for future expansion as we execute our business plan in the telecommunications industry. Zygo TeraOptix develops and commercializes components and modules for the optical networking industry.
