AnaSpec Inc. has added the Smart Search search engine to its Web site to provide improved access to its integrated proteomics solutions for life sciences research. Powered by the Nextopia server, the tool is designed to provide a rapid and comprehensive search experience. Previously, search queries shared processing power with the Web site server. Search results are limited to 20 items per page. Users can limit searches by product line and category, and can sort results by name or relevance. The tool automatically searches all data fields. Matches on name, peptide sequence (one- or three-letter code), and catalog and chemical abstract service numbers are included in the search.
