In California, Liquidmetal Technologies Inc. of Lake Forest has entered into an exclusive licensing and development agreement with Biolase Technology Inc. of Irvine for medical lasers in the dental and ophthalmology markets. Biolase also will have first right of refusal to use the devices in other medical markets.
