Prism Solar Technologies has received a $494,071 grant from the Manufacturers’ Energy Efficiency Grant Assistance (MEGA) Program at the Arizona Commerce Authority. The holographic planar concentrator technology manufacturer is one of seven renewable energy companies in Arizona to receive the award, which will create nearly 180 new jobs in the state and will target the creation and implementation of energy solutions. The reimbursable grant will fund the purchase of new energy-efficient fixed assets. It was funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
