e2v Opens Yokohama Office

Machine vision firm e2v Technologies has expanded its Asian-Pacific network with the opening of an expanded office here.

"Japan is a growing market for e2v products, and we recognize the importance of providing local support to our expanding customer base," said Anthony Fernandez, vice president of e2v Asia-Pacific. "The establishment of this larger office is an important step, enabling us to work more closely with our customers as their trusted, expert partner."

The Yokohama office is the latest addition to e2v's network in the region, with the team providing local expertise to customers across the company's semiconductor, imaging and radio frequency power businesses. Specialist technical support services will be on site to partner with e2v's professional imaging customers and support the increased demand for machine vision solutions in Japan.

Headquartered in Chelmsford, England, e2v is a global provider of communications, automation, discovery, health care and environmental applications technology.
