Pleora Expands in Europe with Rauscher Distribution, Support Staff

Pleora Technologies Inc. is expanding its service to Europe through a distribution agreement with Rauscher GmbH of Munich and the placement of support staff.

Rauscher will distribute Pleora's video interface products, providing applications support for imaging system manufacturers and integrators in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. James Falconer, a member of Pleora's applications engineering team and vice chairman of the AIA's GigE Vision Technical Committee, will relocate from the company's Ottawa headquarters to Munich to provide direct support for European customers.

"Rauscher has an established presence in the German imaging market and will be a key partner as we continue to expand our presence in machine vision, medical, military and automotive applications," said Harry Page, president of Pleora. "Our video interface products, coupled with Rauscher's complimentary product line and skilled integration expertise, will help manufacturers speed design, lower costs and enhance the value of their solutions to gain a competitive advantage."
