Ocean Optics Forms OEM Team

To better serve its growing global OEM business, Dunedin, Fla.-based miniature spectrometer maker Ocean Optics announced last week that it has formed a dedicated OEM engineering group. The group, which includes PhD-level optical and biochemistry engineers, physicists, software developers, and electrical and mechanical engineers, will provide integration support to optimize and fast-track the commercialization efforts of environmental technology OEMs. The group’s services are available to all OEMs, whether they contract directly with Ocean Optics or purchase through local distribution channels, the company said.
