KYOTO, Japan, June 12, 2023 — Inspection lighting manufacturer CCS and inspection component manufacturer iCore have signed a business alliance agreement to develop solutions using both companies’ respective technologies. In addition to lighting and power supplies for image processing inspections, CCS provides inspection cameras and lenses, image judgment programs, AI-based inspections, and other solutions for manufacturing, including multiscan imaging systems. iCore manufactures and sells controllers for high-power inspection that can be controlled at high speeds.

According to iCore, performing multiple inspections on a product commonly requires an inspection stage for each inspection. In constrast, multiscan imaging systems enable inspections on a single stage, switching multiple lights at high speed in the image capture process to improve efficiency in cost, time, and footprint.
