Additive Manufacturing LensesThe 114- and 118-mm models of the Qioptiq LINOS F-Theta-Ronar lens series from Excelitas Technologies Corp. are designed for additive manufacturing, energy storage, and micro/macro machining applications.

The 114-mm focal length lens provides a 515- to 540-nm wavelength for scanning areas up to 65 mm². The 118-mm focal length lens provides a 1030- to 1080-nm wavelength for scanning areas up to 67 mm². Both fused silica lenses offer low absorption, short focal lengths, and large entrance apertures, enabling high precision, optimized spot quality, and smaller spot sizes over the scan field for high-power or short-pulse applications.

Their laser-damage threshold (LIDT) coatings are tested for ns at 1064 and 532 nm, as well as fs at 1030 and 515 nm with angle correction, allowing reduced thermal focus shift and constant transmission over the scan field.
