The International Congress on Applications of Lasers & Electro-Optics (ICALEO) has a 28-year history as the conference where researchers and end-users meet to review the state-of-the-art in laser materials processing and predict where the future will lead.

Optical Fibre Sensors 2010
This workshop aims at promoting a scientific meeting with a high level of interaction between participants,  enabling  an open debate and the assessment of new concepts, technologies and applications in the domain of optical fibre sensors, as well as the establishment of new collaborations and networks. EWOFS'2010 also intends to complement in time and geographical location the international conferences in this area, particularly the International Conference on Optical Fibre Sensors.

World Molecular Imaging Conference 2010
Plan to join us for WMIC 2010, which will be held September 8-11, 2010 in Kyoto, Japan. We will be meeting at the beautiful International Conference Center, which has been home to many conferences of global significance. Like WMIC 2009, our 2010 Congress program will be constructed primarily on the strength of submitted abstracts, and the Program committee will be integrating many of these abstracts into special sessions that bring attendees from different disciplines together for a comprehensive examination of the role of molecular imaging in particular biomedical problems.

Laser Safety Masterclass 2010
The course will be based on European and international standards of laser safety, including EN 60825-1, PD IEC TR 60825-14, EN 207 and EN 208. Workshop sessions will demonstrate how these standards are applied by using specific ‘real-world’ examples. Other relevant standards and regulations will also be discussed.

LED Lighting Institute - 2010
Three-day hands-on seminar where participants learn the basics of LED technology and build an understanding of LED system integration issues involving electrical, optical, and thermal characteristics of LEDs. Learn how to measure and evaluate LEDs and LED systems, and compare LED technologies from a variety of manufacturers.  Participants design, build, and evaluate their own LED fixtures.  Attendees receive 3 continuing education units and a continuing education certificate in LED Lighting.
