SPIE Optics & Photonics 2012
August 12 - 16, 2012
San Diego Convention Center · San Diego, CA
SPIE Optics + Photonics is the largest interdisciplinary technical conference in North America, presenting the latest research and technologies in solar, nano, optics, photonics, and space optics.

The conference will offer more than 2800 presentations. In the Nanoscience + Engineering symposia, topics include carbon nanotubes, optical trapping, and nano-solar hydrogen, metamaterials, and plasmonics. In Solar Energy + Technology, topics will include solar hydrogen, thin films, next-generation cell technology and materials processing. The Optical Engineering + Applications track will include topics such as optical design, systems, and engineering, remote sensing, x-ray technologies, solid state lighting, illumination engineering, advanced metrology, astronomical optics and space optical systems. New this year is an Organic Photonics + Electronics symposia, which will include topics OTFTs, OPVs, liquid crystals, large-scale fabrication and OLEDs.

In addition to the more than 240 companies showcasing their latest products, the exhibit floor will feature several special attractions, including a Photonics for a Better World pavilion and a special Harnessing Light event.

Also plan on over 39 courses and workshops (in 14 tracks) to choose from, while earning CEU credits. The show will also feature 18 plenary presentations and more than 50 additional special and technical events
