Magneto-Optic Crystals (CdMnTe, CdMnHgTe, TdGdG, etc.) A magneto-optic crystal is a photonic crystal that is comprised of magneto-optical material such that the optical response of the device depends on the magnetization of the magneto-optical material. The magneto-optical effect can be enhanced by means of optical resonances.
