Navitar Adds Staff to Sales, Engineering Teams

Jul 2012ROCHESTER, N.Y., July 12, 2012 — Optics and imaging system components manufacturer Navitar Inc. has added several employees to its sales and engineering departments as a result of its ongoing growth and product diversification.

Porter Jia was appointed accounts manager for China and will be based in Guangzhou. He has five years of experience in machine vision sales to the industrial and research markets. Previously, he served as a sales engineer at Guangzhou Intelligent Eyes Electric Production Co. Ltd.

Also joining the international sales team is Yoshihisa Senoo, who will be the accounts manager in Japan. He previously worked at Moritex Japan for 11 years, selling optics, illumination and complete imaging solutions.

The company also has hired a domestic sales support specialist and several engineers.

Over the past year, Navitar has added two associate mechanical engineers and one associate optical engineer; all are recent graduates of Rochester Institute of Technology.
