All-Steel, High-Precision Linear Stage

The MTN stainless steel linear stage combines high stiffness and thermal stability in a low profile design. It has a load capacity of 100kg and in vertical applications, up to 20kg lifting capacity. With travel available up to 300mm, motor options include DC and stepper motor versions. When high speed is needed, choose the DC version for fine MIM positioning, select the stepper motor version. The MTN also comes with ESP technology, the plug and play feature with Newport controllers for fast and safe setups. Other features include: dust protection and lubrication access, motor knob for manual adjustments, holes for direct table mounting and tapped holes on the side that can be used for edge mounting or cable management. 

The MTN addresses both laboratory and production applications which include: scanning, X-ray imaging, metrology, grinding, etc. Vacuum compatible versions are also available. 

Other steel stages from Newport include the UTS series, with travels up to 150mm and 20kg load capacity and the MFA 25mm travel stage – one of the most smallest stages available in the market today and with a 5kg load capacity.
