IR sensor cards from Newport Corp. provide a simple way to detect and analyze laser beams with low, medium and high power levels at wavelengths from 1.5 to 20 µm.

Each card contains a pigment-coated area that changes color when illuminated by IR sources. The low-power sensor cards are made of plastic and contain two areas with different sensitivities. High-power sensor cards are ceramic with only one sensitive area.
