In addition to the existing line of integrating spheres and mounting accessories, Newport Corp. introduces gold spheres. The diffused gold coating provides a high level of diffuse reflectance from the 800 nm to 20 µm (>90% at 800 nm, >94% at 1550 nm) wavelength range. Its high damage threshold and thermal limit make the gold spheres a good choice for high-power IR applications.
