Quantum Northwest offers the largest selection of Peltier-based cuvette holders on Earth.  With a seasoned scientific design and manufacturing team in place, Quantum Northwest builds cuvette holders for almost every commercially available spectrometer, and offers the customization sometimes required for unique scientific problems.  Whether your spectrometer is new, or you are retrofitting an older instrument, Quantum Northwest’s staff can help you find the right Peltier unit for your research needs.

Control of sample temperature is essential for high-quality spectroscopic measurements.  Quantum Northwest offers a variety of single-, double-, and multi-cuvette holders for UV-Vis-NIR absorbance, fluorescence, circular dichroism, fiber optic, and laser spectroscopies.  Many of these products may be ordered with extended temperature capabilities of +150 °C to -55 °C, and all come with dry gas purging and magnetic stirring.

Quantum Northwest partners with the leading global manufacturers of spectrometers to develop Peltier-based cuvette holders that neatly and precisely replace the standard cuvette holder that comes with an instrument.  Quantum Northwest’s partners include Agilent Technologies, Edinburgh Instruments, Hitachi High Technologies, Horiba Scientific, ISS, Ocean Optics, Shimadzu, Stellar Net, and others.

Custom instrumentation is also available from Quantum Northwest.  Because Quantum Northwest makes frequent modifications to its existing products, adapts its products to new applications, and develops prototype spectrometers, it can make a single custom instrument with low costs.

Quantum Northwest’s current product line ranges from the t2 Sport, an inexpensive cuvette holder with a compact structure that will fit in nearly any UV-Vis spectrophotometer, to the qCHANGER 6, which provides temperature control and magnetic stirring for six cuvettes in a UV-Vis spectrophotometer.  Stand-alone cuvette holders include the qpod for absorbance, fluorescence, or Raman, with or without the use of optical fibers, and the FLASH 300, designed to mount on an optical breadboard for laser spectroscopy.
