7-kW LASER

Trumpf Inc. has released its TruFlow 7000 laser resonator, which is available on the company’s high-speed TruLaser5030 New. The 7-kW laser cuts stainless steel up to 1.188 in. thick and aluminum up to 0.8 in. thick. It can achieve cutting speed increases of up to 10 percent for stainless steel that is 0.312, 0.375 or 0.625 in. thick and up to 30 percent for 0.75 to 1 in. Cutting speeds may increase up to 10 percent in some applications where aluminum is used.
