Operating room camera

The Trumpf Group has unveiled TruVidia HD 5000, a high-definition camera integrated into the central handle of its iLED operating room lamp. It has 1080-line video resolution with 1920 × 1080-pixel resolution. Stills and video can be downloaded to a USB stick. The device, which can use either live or downloaded material for educational demonstrations or for telemedicine, also is available in a carrier system without the lamp and can operate in a sterile environment.
