Lehner Named GM of Trumpf Laser Tech Center
- Dr. Christof Lehner was appointed general manager of Trumpf Inc.’s Laser Technology Center in Plymouth, Mich., the company announced Tuesday.
Lehner will be responsible for laser division sales, service and support in North America. He will report to president and CEO Rolf Biekert.
Lehner joined Trumpf Laser GmbH + Co. KG of Schramberg, Germany, in 2002 as product manager for pulsed lasers. In 2003 he was promoted to head of sales for low-power lasers and later to head of sales for solid-state lasers. He later transferred to the Trumpf Group headquarters in Ditzingen, where he most recently served as the director of international sales for Western Europe.
Trumpf’s Laser Technology Center, a part of Trumpf Inc., specializes in high-power CO
2, pulsed and continuous-wave solid-state lasers and laser systems.
