Xenics Appoints US Sales Manager

Aug 2012BEVERLY, Mass., Aug. 2, 2012 — Stuart Cohen has been appointed sales manager for Xenics USA Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Leuven, Belgium-based Xenics nv.

With managerial experience in the infrared industry, Cohen will be responsible for strengthening the company’s North American presence in the industrial and governmental security markets. He plans to steer the company into the OEM core business segment.

“We see a significant potential for growth and additional revenue in the scientific, industrial and security markets in North America,” Cohen said. “We are investing in these markets by hiring additional employees for technical and sales support, thereby strengthening our regional presence. We will also substantially grow our network of sales representatives in dedicated regions.”

Prior to joining Xenics, he worked for NEC Avio Infrared Technologies as product manager and sales manager for North America. Before that, he held technical sales positions at Ericsson and Texas Instruments.

Xenics USA was founded in 2011 to facilitate sales of the company’s infrared detector products and solutions to industrial and institutional customers throughout the US and Canada.
