Thorlabs Buys Burleigh Line

12/1/2011 - Lumen Dynamics has sold its Burleigh line to 14977%%Thorlabs Inc. of Newton, N.J. The line includes piezoelectric micromanipulators and microscope mounting systems for life sciences research. Specific terms of the deal were not disclosed. The sale will allow the Mississauga, Ontario, Canada-based Lumen Dynamics to focus on its light-based solutions for cellular imaging, medical and optoelectronics assembly, and UV printing industries.
