The Fibrance Light-Diffusing Fiber from Corning is a glass optical fiber optimized for thin, colorful, aesthetic lighting.

Nearly invisible when the light source is off, the fiber is flexible and can bend to curve, wrap or contour around objects while providing bright, uniform light. The bend performance of the Fibrance is comparable to data-transmission fibers.

Applications include architecture, automobiles, consumer electronics and appliances.
