Edmund Optics Inc. has announced its TECHSPEC YAG-BBAR-coated achromatic lenses to correct on-axis spherical and chromatic aberrations.
The lenses feature a broadband antireflective coating with maximum transmission from 500 to 1100 nm. With a surface quality of 40-20, the lenses are optimized for < 0.25 percent absolute reflectivity at 532 and 1064 nm. They can also be used when focusing Nd:YAG lasers, particularly when using an alignment beam.
The lenses are available in twelve models with diameters from 6.25 to 25 mm.
