Edmund Optics has added 18 fluorescence bandpass filters with six wavelength options to its TECHSPEC series.
The precision filters are matched to common fluorophores used in fluorescence imaging applications. They are also optimal components in spectroscopy, clinical chemistry applications and biomedical instrumentation.
The filters provide maximum brightness and high contrast with >93 percent transmission and optical density >6 blocking outside the desired passband &dmash; less than 3 percent from the edge of the bandwidth — to ensure detection of weak signals.
Center wavelengths range from 386 to 648 nm, with diameters of 12.5, 25 and 50 mm.
