Labsphere Names New CEO, SVP
- Following the move of its president, Kevin Chittim, to sister company Ocean Optics, Labsphere, a Halma company, has named two senior executive appointments.
Jack Kelly will replace Chittim as president. He previously was president of Fiberguide, another Halma company. Before that, he served as president at Emerson Electric, Bristol Babcock, Axsys Technologies and PMT.
Dr. Peter Weitzman, former vice president of sales at Labsphere, has been promoted to senior vice president. He has led the company’s sales and marketing since 2008. Before that, he held senior positions with DEM Solutions and Concept NREC.
Labsphere designs and manufactures precision radiometric and photometric test and measurement products for the LED, electronic imaging, aerospace, lighting, medical imaging and optics industries.
