LightWorks Optics Hires Program Manager
- Optical engineering and production solutions provider LightWorks Optics Inc. announced the hire of Daniel Hedberg as its new program manager.
Hedberg will be responsible for the planning and management of all engineering projects and associated budgets for customers in the defense, space, medical device and commercial market segments.
Before joining the company, he served as an engineering manager and optical engineer at Newport Corp. for six years. There he was responsible for managing the company’s overall engineering and new product development efforts.
He has served also as an optical engineer at Intralase, an ophthalmic femtosecond laser manufacturer, and at telecommunications startup Optical Crossing.
