LightWorks Names President, CEO
- LightWorks Optics Inc. announced the recent appointment of Michael Minailo as its new president and chief executive officer.
Minailo will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans for sustained growth in the aerospace and defense market segments, as well as expanded positioning in the commercial, medical device and biomedical market segments.
He brings to the company more than 20 years of executive management experience in strategic growth and global market penetration within the life sciences and technology industries. Prior to his current position, he served as managing director for The Sun2ice Group. Before that, he worked at Millennium Dental Technologies Inc. as its president and CEO.
Minailo also has held executive positions with Strategic Growth, Bergen Brunswig Medical, Cardiothoracic Systems and St. Jude Medical.
