OptiGauge II Thickness Measurement

With this broader product offering we will be positioned to better meet the needs of our customers. The expanded Lumetrics portfolio reinforces why Lumetrics is the industry leader in precision thickness measurements.

A key advantage of the new products is that they no longer require a dedicated OptiGauge Controller and can be operated with the customers’ own PC or laptop. We have also made improvements in the overall design and functionality of the systems which will lead to even more robust systems in the field. The new products include the OptiGauge II^® and the OptiGauge LT^®.

The OptiGauge II^® is designed to deliver the same measurement capabilities and performance of the OptiGauge-MLS with a measurement range of 12 microns to 16 mm optical thickness and an accuracy of ±0.1 micron. The customer can chose from our full selection of probes as they can with our current system, and can connect up to 8 probes to the system. The customer can operate the OptiGauge by using their own PC or laptop. We have also improved the probe connectors to eliminate the risk of damage or contamination from dirt and dust. This new functionality allows us to offer the OptiGauge II at a lower price point of under $40,000.

The OptiGauge LT^® has a measurement range of 12 microns to 5 mm optical thickness with an accuracy of ± 1 micron. This allows us to offer our customers a more economical measurement system. This system includes a dedicated optical probe which can be selected at the time of order, and the ability to change probes later. The OptiGauge LT offers outstanding performance and value for lab and R&D applications. For just under $20,000 the OptiGauge LT offers outstanding performance for less demanding applications.More products
