Photonics MarketplaceThe Nano-MTA series of closed loop mirror scanning nanopositioners is ideal for applications where extreme repeatability and accuracy in beam steering is required. Due to our proprietary PicoQ
® sensors, these nanopositioners have ultra-low position noise, high stability, and sub-nanoradian precision. Combined with our true flexure design the Nano-MTA series is suitable for applications in astronomy, LIDAR, microscopy and optical tweezers that require fast response and high scanning speeds without compromising stability and repeatability. The Nano-MTA series is available in one and two axis configurations. The two-axis Nano-MTA2 is carefully engineered for decoupled orthogonal motion. Standard travel ranges under closed loop control are 2 milliradians per axis or 5 milliradians per axis with custom travel ranges available upon request. The Nano-MTA series nanopositioners are constructed from aluminum or invar/titanium depending on your application. The Nano-MTA series may be custom modified for use in ultra-high vacuum environments and other challenging environments.

®85 controllers drive optimum performance from Nano-MTA series nanopositioners. Both controllers include PicoQ
® sensor electronics, proportional integral feedback control, and 150V amplifiers. When used with the high-power Nano-Drive
®85 controller, the Nano-MTA Series is capable of continuous, high-speed scans at 400 Hz and step response times down to two milliseconds.
