The FC40 is the newest addition to the fiber collimators family. Its large 23-mm beam diameter at 1/e² points, along with FC45’s 33-mm beam diameter, is ideal for long-distance beam propagation, interferometry or fiber lasers. The unique optical design generates a diffraction-limited Gaussian beam at any distance, while minimizing diffraction effects. The stainless steel body has adjustable focus with no rotation, and lockdown against vibrations. Custom collimators at larger sizes can also be made. Wavelengths covered are from 370 to 2100 nm.
