It was made to provide accurate measurement, based on balanced detection, in harsh environments such as factories and mechanical laboratories. Its microradian-grade capabilities enable its use with most transparent materials, including glass and semiconductors. The modular analyzer operates at 80 Hz and is suitable for online measurement of glass plates, defect-induced localized birefringence, glass cutting, stress analysis of optical materials such as polymer films, metrology for quality control, and wafer and photolithography components analysis.
